These terms apply to swpministry.com, the website of Siloam Word and Power Ministry. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Using this site

You are welcome to read, share and link to anything published here. Please do not attempt to break into the site, disrupt it for other people, or use it to send anything unlawful, threatening or abusive.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms.

Payments, membership and giving

Payments are taken through Stripe. Prices and amounts are shown in Canadian dollars unless we say otherwise.

A recurring membership or monthly gift continues until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time and it will stop at the end of the period you have already paid for.

Please tell us promptly if a payment was made in error and we will put it right. Beyond that, whether an amount can be refunded depends on what it was for — see the event terms below for tickets.

Events and tickets

A ticket admits the number of people it says and no more. Where an event is cancelled by us, we refund what you paid. Where you cannot attend, tell us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can.

We may need to change the time, place or programme of an event. If we do, we will tell everyone who registered.

Photographs and other content

The text, photographs and other material on this site belong to Siloam Word and Power Ministry or to the people who made them, and are used here with permission. Please ask before republishing anything elsewhere.

Events are sometimes photographed, and those photographs may appear on this site. If you would prefer a photograph of you not to be used, tell us and we will take it down.

Comments

Comments are read before they appear. We will not publish anything abusive, dishonest, or aimed at a person rather than an idea. What you write remains yours; by posting it you allow us to display it here.

Email we send

We send email only to people who asked for it or who are taking part in something with us. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it immediately, as Canada's anti-spam law requires.

Links to other sites

Where we link to somebody else's website, we are pointing you at it, not vouching for it. What happens there is between you and them.

The site itself

We keep the site running as best we can, but we cannot promise it will always be available or entirely free of error. Information here is offered in good faith and in general terms; it is not professional advice, and you should not rely on it as though it were.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes before the courts of Ontario.
