Welcome to Siloam Word and Power Ministry
Who we are, and what you can expect on a Sunday
Siloam Word and Power Ministry is a congregation of Eritrean and Ethiopian believers in Hamilton, Ontario, together with friends and neighbours from every background.
We take our name and our commission from Acts 13:47 — "I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth." That verse shapes what we do. We are a small church with a wide horizon.
Our service begins at 3:30 in the afternoon every Sunday. We sing in Tigrinya and in English, we read and preach the Word, and we pray for one another. Services usually run about two hours, and nobody is in a hurry to leave afterwards.
If you are new to Hamilton, or newly arrived in Canada, please come and find us. You do not need to know anyone, dress a particular way, or understand every word of the language. Come as you are.
We meet at 1209 Main Street East, Hamilton, Ontario L8K 1A3. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
